What’s Inside
At the heart of it is a shortwave infrared halogen element, tucked inside a quartz tube. The quartz is tough—it handles the sudden heat changes—and it lets that infrared energy pass through cleanly. We’ve also coated the outside with a reflective layer. This keeps the heat moving forward, where it’s needed. Less wasted heat means less strain on the parts nearby. The connector? It’s a standard R7s, a simple bi-pin design. That makes these lamps a direct replacement. You can swap them in and get back to work without rewiring the whole machine.
