What’s Inside, and How It Stays Tough

The heart of this unit is a quartz heating tube with a halogen fill. That combo keeps the filament clean and steady, so you don’t get performance fading over time. It blasts shortwave infrared that hits the PET preforms directly, warming them from the inside out instead of just scorching the surface. That saves energy and keeps things more consistent. It comes with an R7s connector, which gives you a solid two-point connection that can handle the constant vibration of the machine floor. It’s a tough setup, no doubt—just remember the quartz body is brittle. Treat it gently during installation. One bump is all it takes.

Why It Works Where It Counts

On a PET blowing line, you need heat that reacts instantly and stays rock steady. This heater hits the preform surface hard, delivering the energy density needed for clean, even parison stretching. The payoff is uniform wall thickness and fewer scrapped parts. The 400V input also makes life easier in the control panel. In a lot of cases, you can skip the step-down transformer.
