The Inside Story
Let’s talk power. These lamps pack a punch in a small space. You can get them in power ratings from 250W all the way up to 2500W. We also set them up to match the power in your facility, with options for both 230V and 400V. The 400V models are designed for three-phase systems, which helps spread the load and keeps your wiring from getting oversized. They’re made to fit. The tubes are around 300mm long, with other sizes available to fit whatever space you’ve got. And the shape matters. A shorter, high-wattage tube concentrates the heat, which means your target heats up almost instantly.
What Makes It Tick
At the heart of it is the halogen filament capsule. It runs hot, which is exactly what you need to generate that strong infrared radiation. And the clever part? The halogen cycle keeps the inside of the capsule clean, so the heat and light output stay steady over the life of the lamp. Then we wrap that capsule in a quartz jacket. This is what gives it the protection it needs, shielding it and keeping everything electrically safe. Quartz is a champ when it comes to handling sudden temperature changes, and it lets the infrared energy pass right through. Many of the jackets even have a special coating to focus the energy where you need it and cut down on glare. And for the connections, we use industrial-grade parts like the R7s base.
