If you’re running industrial heating arrays, you know the drill. You need a replacement that just works without a headache. That’s why we built these 354mm infrared lamps. They’re simple, rugged, and designed to slide right into your existing setup. We offer them in 1000W and 2000W, both featuring a tungsten filament wrapped in high-purity quartz. Picking your power The 354mm size is pretty standard for PET blowing and plastic curing, so it should fit your line perfectly. But you’ve got a choice to make on the wattage. If you need to shave seconds off your cycle time, go with the 2000W version. It hammers more energy into the workpiece, which means your ramp-up happens way faster. Just a heads-up: check your wiring first. You don’t want to find out the hard way that your power supply can’t handle the extra current—nobody likes a melted connector or a blown fuse on a Tuesday morning. That “half-white” coating You’ll notice a ceramic coating on the back half of the tube. It’s not there to look pretty. The coating actually bounces the shortwave radiation forward, pushing the heat exactly where it needs to go—onto your material. Plus, it keeps the heat from bleeding back into your machine’s chassis. It’s a simple trick that makes the whole process much more efficient. Getting them installed (and keeping them alive) These use standard plug-in terminals, so swapping them out is fast. And because they’re shortwave emitters, they hit peak temp almost instantly. It’s great for high-speed lines where every millisecond counts. But here is the important part:be careful with the glass. Quartz is finicky. If you touch the tube with oily fingers during installation, you’re creating a “hot spot.” Those spots are killers—they’ll cause the tube to burn out way sooner than it should. Grab some isopropyl alcohol and give the glass a good wipe before you wire everything up. Also, take a look at your cooling fans. If they’re clogged with dust, the ambient heat will eat away at the filament life, no matter which wattage you picked. Keep them clean, and these tubes will treat you right.
