When you’re building a sauna, the last thing you want is a customer sitting in a lukewarm room waiting for the heater to finally kick in. That’s why we designed these 235V 2000W infrared lamps. They aren’t your typical heaters. We use a halogen cycle to keep the tungsten filament in top shape, which lets the lamp run hotter and push out a concentrated blast of short-wave IR. Why the 235V/2000W combo? It’s all about speed. This setup gives you a massive amount of heat without taking up much space. Instead of waiting for a giant slab of stone or metal to warm up the air, these lamps hit their target temperature almost instantly. You get that deep, radiant heat that actually sinks into your skin. It feels different. It’s more direct. The nuts and bolts The heart of the lamp is a quartz envelope. We used quartz because it can handle the “thermal shock” of a sauna—going from cold to scorching hot in seconds—without cracking. We also fill them with halogen gas. This stops the tungsten from evaporating and sticking to the glass. Without it, your lamps would turn dark and cloudy over time. With it, the heat stays clear and consistent for the long haul. If you’re looking for something specific, we do OEM and ODM work. We can tweak the length or change the end-cap connectors so they slide right into your existing frame. One quick tip: if you’re swapping these into an older machine,double-check your wiring gauge. A 2000W load pulls a lot of current. If your wires are too thin, they’ll overheat, and that’s a problem nobody wants. A few things to keep in mind These lamps are powerful. Really powerful. Because the energy is so intense, you need to get your reflector geometry just right. You don’t want “hot spots” that could actually burn someone. Also, since these tubes run hot, make sure your housing has plenty of breathing room. If the air doesn’t move, your internal electronics are going to cook. We usually suggest pairing these with a solid PID controller. It keeps the cycling smooth so you don’t burn out the filament prematurely.
